Jeff Shear is one of the leading UK fundraisers, specialising in Major Donor campaigns. Jeff has led many successful fundraising campaigns and, since becoming a consultant, has worked with a wide range of charities across the UK. Well-known to both donors and fundraisers, Jeff’s unique expertise helps charities enhance their major donor programme. He provides practical help and assistance to ensure that major donor fundraising becomes a natural part of the fundraising mix. Jeff also leads our popular training course, which has been developed to help fundraisers hone their skills.

Amanda Delew successfully ran the Giving Campaign, prior to which she worked at the Labour Party and various other charities. She has a wealth of experience in dealing with donors at the highest level and a proven track record in developing strategies and results for major donor and corporate campaigns. She also provides strategic advice on volunteering and senior management development.

Jane Hogarth was Head of Corporate Relations and Fundraising for the Labour Party from 2001 – 2006 and has extensive experience of fundraising from high net worth individuals. Throughout her career Jane has managed a series of high-profile fundraising events. She has a background in fundraising research and regularly works alongside some of the country’s leading philanthropists and business people.

Carmel Spyer was Donor Relations Director at ARK, Absolute Return for Kids until December 2008. Previously she was Head of Donor Development at UNICEF UK and Major Donor Manager at Jewish Care. Carmel has extensive experience delivering some of the UK’s most successful fundraising events, managing relationships with high net worth and high profileindividuals, and involving trustees and senior volunteers in major donor fundraising.

Sian Bartram was Director of Development at The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, leading the fundraising team from 2011 – 2018. Joining shortly after inception, Sian’s focus was to establish and grow the major donor, trust, corporate and event portfolios to support a variety of charitable projects. With a background in fundraising for international development and social welfare, Sian has worked with UK and US philanthropists both from a fundraising perspective and also advising them personally on their charitable giving.
